Has Obama Kept The United States Safe From Terrorist Attack?
Bill Maher seems to think so. In a recent appearance on Larry King Live, Maher opined that Obama has kept the U.S. safer than George Bush because 9/11 happened on the Bush watch and there have been no successful attacks under Obama.
Forget about the fact that Bush inherited national security compromised by eight years of a Bill Clinton rule that was as anemic, passive and dictated by poll numbers. Forget that we have gotten lucky that the terrorists have been so damn incompetent.
Let's not let a Maher opinion get muddled by facts.
